AISIS User Level Service Agreement (ULSA)
Thank you for visiting the official website of the Ateneo Integrated Student Information System (AISIS). The "AISIS Portal", herein referred to as the "Portal", is owned and operated by the Loyola Schools, Ateneo de Manila University, referred to as ADMU. It is provided as a service to the students, faculty, staff and administrators of the Loyola Schools. By using the whole Portal or parts of it through accessing information, materials, and data contained within the Portal, the user hereby agrees to accept the following terms and conditions contained in this User Level Service Agreement (ULSA).
In visiting the Portal, the user agrees not to use it and/or any of its contents for any unlawful activity, or use it in any way that would violate any of the terms and conditions stated in this ULSA.
Intellectual Property Policy
All materials contained in the Portal, including, but not limited to, the site design, news articles, directories, photographic images, and the AISIS and Ateneo de Manila University logos are protected by copyright laws. Unless otherwise specified, all contents in the portal are copyrighted property of the Ateneo de Manila University. All rights reserved.
Disclaimer Regarding Accuracy of Information and Usage of Data
The contents of this Portal are provided for information purposes only. Official student records are issued by the Loyola Schools Registrar's Office only. ADMU does not accept any liability to any person for the direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use or misuse of any information provided in this Portal. The user shall have sole responsibility for assessing the relevance and accuracy of the Portal's contents.
If the information on the Ateneo de Manila University’s official printed documents differs from the information contained on the Portal, the information on the University’s official printed documents will take precedence.
The information posted on the Portal may be quoted or reproduced in whole or in part provided that ADMU is duly informed and/or credited. Users are restricted from reselling, redistributing, or creating derivative works for commercial purposes without the express or written consent of ADMU. Although the MyAISIS Portal Team tries to ensure broken links do not exist, links to other Internet sites may have changed. If you encounter broken links, please report immediately to the website administrator for proper action.
The user does not have to give personal information in viewing the contents of this Portal and downloading forms and publications. No personal information about the user is collected unless s/he chooses to provide it, or required by a specific university office to authenticate the user, and facilitate its transaction. If the user voluntarily provides personal information, the information may be used to either (a) transact business with the user or (b) conduct statistical analyses of user activities to measure user interest on the information provided in the Portal and how ADMU provides it. In both cases, the user's personal information is never divulged to any third party and will solely be used for official ADMU activity as stated above.
However, the Portal may collect and store standard, non-personal information as the user browses through the Portal's contents, reads pages, or downloads forms and other data.
The type of non-personal information may include one or more of the following:
1. Name of the domain from which you access the Internet;
2. The type of browser and operating system used to access the Portal;
3. The date and time of access;
4. The page where the user entered, the pages accessed, and the page exited; and
5. The user's IP (Internet Protocol) address.
The above information would be used to count the number and types of visitors to the different pages in the Portal for statistical analyses to assist the Portal Team in improving the site's usefulness.
Linkages with the Portal
The Portal contains hyperlinks to external websites not controlled, maintained, or regulated by the ADMU. These links are provided for the user's reference and convenience only. ADMU is not responsible for the contents of those websites and shall not be liable for any damages or loss arising from access to those websites. Use of the hyperlinks and access to such linked websites are entirely the user's voluntary choice and responsibility.
These external websites and their references to any specific commercial product, process, or service by trade name, trademark, or otherwise, do not constitute or imply endorsement, association, recommendation, or favoring by the Portal and the ADMU.
All the hyperlinked sites shown in the Portal have passed through a predetermined screening process before being allowed to be posted in the Portal.
In general, other websites may link to this Portal with prior acknowledgment and approval from ADMU. ADMU must be explicitly identified and duly credited as the source of information displayed. Furthermore, the contents of the Portal must be presented in the host site without any alterations. For details in creating linkages, contact the website administrator.
Intrusion Detection and Security
For security purposes and constant availability of the Portal in the World Wide Web, ADMU uses special software programs for monitoring network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or cause damage to the Portal. These programs collect no information that would directly identify individuals, but they do collect information that could help identify someone attempting to tamper with this website.
If you use this system or Portal, you should understand that all activities may be monitored and recorded. Anyone using this system or Site expressly consents to such monitoring. This serves as a WARNING that if such monitoring reveals possible evidence or information of criminal or suspicious activity, monitoring records may be provided to law enforcement officials without any prior oral or written notice to the suspected user.
Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, ADMU makes no other attempts to identify individual users or their usage habits. ADMU only uses raw monitoring data for logs to determine usage trends and diagnose system or Portal problems.
Online Registration Facility
This facility is provided for the convenience of ADMU-Loyola Schools students in registering for classes, monitoring their grades and class schedules and monitoring other information given by various office of the ADMU to the students. The Portal uses industry standard in securing your connection to the ADMU. However, users assume all risks associated with transfer of information to the ADMU, and with any other use of this facility. The ADMU will not be responsible in any manner for direct or indirect damages caused in any way as a result of the use of this facility.
As a condition of the Portal use, the user and/or anyone linking to it agrees to indemnify the ADMU against any and all liability, expenses (including attorney's fees and court costs) and damages arising out of claims, including, without limitation, any claims alleging facts that if true would constitute a breach of the terms and conditions stated in this ULSA.
Violation of any of the terms and conditions stated in this ULSA, misuse and/or abuse of the Portal or any of its contents, and/or misrepresentation in any form, may subject the user to the corresponding administrative, civil and/or criminal liability under applicable laws.
This ULSA is governed by the Student, Faculty and Staff Handbook of the Loyola Schools of Ateneo de Manila University and the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The user and/or anyone linking to the Portal consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website. The user/s of the Portal and/or anyone linking to it in jurisdictions of the courts outside of the Republic of the Philippines consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Republic of the Philippines. The Philippine Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (Republic Act 8792) shall fully apply.

In the interest of improving the delivery of service through the Web, ADMU reserves the right to update or modify the Portal and/or its contents without prior notice.
